Originally from Montreal, I came to Vancouver in 1972, initially working in the financial industry. I returned to school in 1976, attending BCIT. Upon leaving BCIT I started my career in the transportation industry. It started out in a sales capacity but transitioned over the years into numerous aspects of the logistics industry including but not limited to running the distribution center for a multi-outlet retail chain, acting as Western Regional Sales Manager for a multi-national trucking company and eventually taking on the position of General Manager for a Pacific Northwest trucking company. This extensive background has allowed me to take on multiple tasks within Lotus Terminals. While I still maintain a close relationship with customers I have dealt with over the years and establish relationships with new customers, I also liaise with the major steamship lines, CBSA and CBP through the contacts I’ve established over the years. I also have experience in the claims process and while these occur infrequently, I get involved to ensure that the process is followed correctly.
